Our Mission

A collaborative effort to promote equal justice by providing legal assistance, education and resources to qualifying individuals across South Dakota.

Who we are

SDLawHelp is a consortium of South Dakota legal service providers who are dedicated to helping people in all corners of the state navigate the legal system and provide assistance on matters that can drastically impact their lives.  From employment and housing to custody and collections - our organizations believe that legal assistance, education, and access to information are paramount to ensuring equal justice.  That is why we developed the SDLawHelp website.

Who we serve

The legal organizations involved in SDLawHelp offer free legal help to low-income clients in a broad of legal matters. Serving all counties and reservations in the state of South Dakota, we do our best to make equal justice a reality.  Each organization will review applications to determine eligibility for its specific programs.
